Eurovision 2020, postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, will be held in an online concert format.

Axar.az reports that the information was posted on the website of the competition.

It is reported that the song contest will be held under the slogan "Eurovision: Europe shine a light". Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light will honor. All 41 songs, in a non-competitive format, as well as providing plenty of surprises for fans and viewers at home. The show will be hosted by Dutch Eurovision presenters Chantal Janzen, Edsilia Rombley (Eurovision 1998 and 2007) and Jan Smit.

The show, which will take place on May 16, will feature 41 musical numbers. The concert will also be broadcast on the organization's official YouTube channel.

The winners of the music competition of previous years will also have the opportunity to participate in the online concert.

The organizers say that this format will serve to unite the people of different countries in these difficult times: "We suggest that TV channels around the world broadcast this show in unity."

It should be noted that Samir Efendi will represent Azerbaijan at the Eurovision-2020 Song Contest with the song "Cleopatra".
