Sheikh was nominated for the Nobel Prize

The name of the person nominated for the Nobel Prize from Azerbaijan this year has been announced.

Axar.az reports vice-president of the International Nobel Information Center, Doctor of Sciences Beybala Alasgarov stated that only one candidate from Azerbaijan was nominated this year.

According to him, the head of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO), Sheikh of the Caucasus Haji Allahshukur Pashazade has already been approved as a candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize by a group of experts.

It should be noted that Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize before.

It should be noted that the Nobel Information Center in Azerbaijan was established in 1996 by a special decision of the Cabinet of Ministers and is the fifth centre in the world.
