Results of the Venice Film Festival have been announced

The main prize of the 77th Venice Film Festival "Golden Lion of the Holy Mark" won the film "The Nomadic Land" by Chinese director Chloe Zhao.

Axar.az informs that, this result was announced by a jury headed by actress Cate Blanchett.

The documentary is about new immigrants to the United States and people living on the roads. He was considered the favorite of the competition, which involved 18 films.

Director and lead actor Francis McDormand joined the awards ceremony via teleconference.

The winners were announced on the festival's website.
