National artists call on to dream outside the box

An exhibition "Dreams outside the box" took place at Askerov Art Studio last weekend.

The unusual exhibition featured works by people of different ages (from 5 to 73years), including Zulfiya Alizadeh, Tamilla Aliyeva, Melissa and Denise Turkoglu, Farida Rahimova, Murad and Nargis Heybatovs, Saida Mailova, Jamila Gurbanova , Oksana Sadovnikova, Gulari Askerli, Svetlana Shirinova, Sabina Mustafayeva and others.

Do you ever wonder what is going on around you? Why do dreams stay dreams? How to achieve them? How to live a truly inspired life? These and others questions have been discussed with studio's teachers Rufat Askerov and Elnara Askerova during the event.

The secretary of the Union of artists of Azerbaijan, national artist Agali Ibragimov, for his part, said that parents should familiarize their children with fine art.

"Children usually like to look at the pictures. Due to its clarity and beauty, they are accessible to children, especially teenagers and adults. Domestic and historical paintings are of the greatest interest. Acquaintance with art broadens their mind, developing aesthete`s taste and positively affecting children`s behavior,” said national artist.
