Russia creates its own "Eurovision"

People's artists of Russia Nikolay Baskov and Grigory Leps, who created the Russian Music Association, will hold the "Eurovision" competition within the framework of the organization. In other words, "Russian Eurovision" will be created.

Axar.az reports that Russian People's Artist Nikolay Baskov himself stated this.

"The format of the future show is currently being discussed. Regardless of the format, pleasant surprises await the audience, because not only Russian artists, but also singers and groups representing other countries will have the opportunity to perform. By the way, the competition festival can also be held online," he said.

It is interesting that the choice of foreign participants will be guided by a political principle, that is, performers or groups of countries that Russia considers a friendly country will be able to perform in the upcoming show.
