Azerbaijan joins Int'l Theater Festival in Belarus

The 21st International Theatre Festival "White Tower" (Belaya Vezha) marking the 25th anniversary of CIS is underway in Brest, Belarus, according to the press service of the CIS headquarters in Minsk.

The festival is an important event in the cultural life of CIS. It brings together dramatic, music and plastic theaters from 17 countries - Azerbaijan, Belarus, Great Britain, Germany, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, France, Czech Republic and others. Spectators will enjoy 26 performances played by 26 theaters.

The festival offers a blend of classic works by Gogol, Dostoevsky, Chekhov, Chingiz Aitmatov, William Shakespeare and modern drama. Theatre performances available in eight languages, including Azerbaijani, take place at five venues in Brest.
