At least 8 people were killed and 25 others injured when a passenger bus rolled over in Turkiye's western province of Afyon early Sunday.

Axar.az reports that the accident occurred in the Haydarlı village of the Dinar district on Sunday morning, according to local sources.

Ambulances and rescue teams rushed to the scene to carry bodies and the injured to nearby hospitals, local officials said.

The cause of the accident was not immediately clear.
