A chain traffic accident occurred in Azerbaijan's Ujar district.

Axar.az reports that as a result of a 13-car collision, 2 people died, and 22 others were injured.

The injured people were hospitalized.

According to preliminary estimates, the terrible accident was caused by smoke from a fire at a nearby landfill. The incident occurred when vehicles traveling on the highway were unexpectedly engulfed in thick smoke, completely limiting visibility.
