The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an order on allocation of additional financial support to newspapers, published in the country.

Axar.az reports that according to the order, AZN 1 million has been allocated for the State Fund for Support of Mass Media Development under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan from the Presidential Reserve Fund, considered in 2019 state budget of Azerbaijan Republic in order to provide additional financial support to the country newspapers.

The Ministry of Finance has been assigned to provide funding in the amount, mentioned in the order.
