President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolences to President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Axar.az reports that, the letter reads:

"Dear Mr. President, Dear brother,

I am deeply saddened that today's earthquake in Van causes devastation and destruction. On behalf of myself and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I express my deepest condolences to you, the families and relatives of the victims of this tragedy, and wish the injured and injured.
