Weapons were silenced in "Nagorno-Karabakh" (formerly Nagorno-Karabakh - ed.). We are now working with our colleagues in Azerbaijan, Armenia and the Minsk Group to preserve and restore the historical, cultural and heritage in the region.

Axar.az reports that French President Emmanuel Macron wrote these words on his Twitter account.

The French leader said they could also support the activities of UNESCO in the Karabakh region:

"France is ready to share its support and experience within UNESCO to protect the cultural and religious heritage of Nagorno-Karabakh (formerly Nagorno-Karabakh - ed.) And the surrounding areas."
