President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolences to President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Axar.az informs that the statement came from the President's press service.

"Dear Mr. President. My dear brother. I was very saddened by the news that Turkish soldiers were killed in a military helicopter crash.

On behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, I extend my deepest condolences to you, the families and relatives of the martyred servicemen, and the brotherly people of Azerbaijan in connection with this tragedy, and I wish the injured a speedy recovery.

Rest in peace!"
