As a result of additional investigations, it was found out that Artur Kartanyan, a serviceman of the Armenian Armed Forces detained on June 8, 2021 in the Lachin region of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, did not enter the territory of Azerbaijan for provocation.

Axar.az reports that this was reported to by the Defense Ministry.

According to the ministry, it was determined that Arthur Kartanya lost his way and crossed the Azerbaijani border.

Due to the fact that A. Kartanya behaved suspiciously during the initial interrogation and gave an inaccurate answer, there were suspicions that he was a member of the subversive group of the Armenian armed forces.

Taking into account the above, A. Kartanyan was returned to the other side.

Thus, once again demonstrating the humane behavior of the Azerbaijani side, we ensure the return of a person who has not committed a crime against our country.
