On June 16, at about 16:40, a traffic accident occurred in the service area of the "Gubadli" special border division of the Border Troops of the State Border Service (SBS).

Axar.az reports the SBS said that a MAZ truck fell into a roadside ravine near Cicimli village of Lachin region due to loss of control on the way back to the military unit from the border checkpoints.

As a result, the servicemen in the car - senior lieutenant Nasibov Elmaddin Suleyman and sergeant Kamalli Kamal Vilayat died.

A preliminary investigation is underway in connection with the incident.
