On September 14, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov and the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Commander of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Ramiz Tahirov left for a visit to Turkey at the invitation of the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Turkey, Mr Hulusi Akar.

Axar.az reports citing MoD that a number of meetings of the Ministry of Defense with the military leadership of the Republic of Turkey, including participation in the Distinguished Visitors Day of the "TurAz Falcon - 2021" joint flight-tactical exercises held in Konya are planned within the framework of the visit.
