Minimum monthly salary has been increased in Azerbaijan

President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order to increase the amount of the minimum monthly wage and amend the Presidential Decree No. 1265 of June 18, 2019 "On increasing the minimum monthly wage."

Axar.az presents the text of the order:

1. To determine the amount of the minimum monthly salary from January 1, 2022 to 300 manats.

2. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan:

2.1. Within a month to ensure compliance of the amounts of monthly tariff (position) salaries of employees working in the areas financed from the state budget determined by acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan with Part 1 of this Order and inform the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

2.2. to resolve other issues arising from this Order.

3. Part 1 of the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated June 18, 2019 No. 1265 "On increase of the minimum monthly wage" (Collection of Legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 2019, № 6, Article 1102) shall be repealed.

4. Parts 1 and 3 of this Order shall enter into force on January 1, 2022.
