President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to Federal President of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen.

Axar.az reports that the text reads:

"Dear Mr. Federal President,

Thank you for your congratulatory letter on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Austria. In my turn, on behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, I sincerely congratulate you and your people on this significant date in our bilateral relations and fulfill my best wishes.

The current state of friendly relations formed between our countries over the past period is gratifying. Our cooperation in political, trade, economic, cultural and other fields serves the interests of our states and the interests of our peoples.

I believe that our traditional friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation, built on a sound foundation, will continue to develop and expand, both bilaterally and within international structures.

I wish you good health, success in your work and prosperity to the friendly people of Austria."
