Starting from the evening of October 3 and during night of October 4, units of Armenian armed forces subjected positions of Azerbaijani Army in the directions of Zivel, Zaylik, and Istisu residential settlements of Kalbajar, Aghdam, and Garalar settlements of Tovuz district to fire from their positions in Subatan, Yukhari Shorzha.and Istisu settlements of Basarkerchar district, Chinarli and Kolagir settlements of Tovuzgala district using gunfires of different caliber.

Axar.az reports citing MoD that adequate retaliatory measures were taken by the units of the Azerbaijani Army deployed in the mentioned directions.

"We inform you that the military and political leadership of Armenia bears the entire responsibility for the purposeful escalation of the situation," noted MoD.
