State Secretary of the Holy See Cardinal Pietro Parolin will visit Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that the State Secretary said this during his meeting with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Vatican, Ilgar Mukhtarov.

At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the high-level cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Vatican, the importance of these relations in terms of civilizational and interreligious dialogue, as well as the promotion of tolerance in the world, was emphasized.

The State Secretary of the Holy See asked the ambassador to convey his greetings to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva and said that he will visit our country this year.
