No incident during OSCE monitoring on contact line

The OSCE monitoring held on the line of contact between the Azerbaijani and Armenian troops has passed without incidents, Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry said August 3.

The monitoring was held Aug.3 under the mandate of the OSCE chairperson-in-office personal representative on the line of contact near the Orta Gervend village of Azerbaijan’s Aghdam district.

On the territory controlled by Azerbaijani armed forces, the monitoring was held by the personal representative of the OSCE chairperson-in-office Andrzej Kasprzyk and his field assistant Hristo Hristov.

On the Azerbaijani territory occupied and controlled by Armenian armed forces, the monitoring was carried out by the field assistants of OSCE chairperson-in-office personal representative Jiri Aberle and Peter Svedberg.
