On October 6, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the co-chairman of the State Commission on Economic, Trade and Humanitarian Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran, Mehrdad Bazrpash.

Axar.az reports that the head of state noted the importance of the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the road bridge and border-customs infrastructure, coastal strengthening projects in the area, held near the Aghband settlement of Zangilan district, and said that it will contribute to the further strengthening of our friendly relations.
