Turkiye to train Syrian army based on Azerbaijan model

Turkiye is ready to support the Syrian army based on the Azerbaijan model.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Turkiye's Defense Minister Yaşar Güler.

The minister emphasized that Turkiye has previously provided military training support to the armies of Azerbaijan, Libya, and Somalia, and intends to offer the same support to Syria.

“We have provided training support to Azerbaijan, Libya, and Somalia, and we can do the same for them. The trainings have started in Turkiye and continues. We believe we should assist Syria in its fight against terrorism, and we are continuing our activities in this direction,” the minister said.
