CENTCOM rejects IRGC claims on U.S. aircraft

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has rejected claims by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) that three U.S. F-35 fighter jets and three other aircraft were destroyed during recent Iranian attacks on an American air base.

Axar.az reports, citing CENTCOM, that no U.S. aircraft were destroyed or damaged in the attacks.

"No U.S. aircraft were destroyed or damaged in recent attempted Iranian attacks. All missiles and drones were intercepted or failed to reach targeted areas," the statement said.

Earlier, the IRGC claimed that it had struck the U.S. Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan, destroying three F-35 fighter jets and seriously damaging three other aircraft.
