Witkoff says Azerbaijan–Armenia deal reached in six weeks

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev are good friends, brought together by President Trump, which is quite remarkable, US presidential envoy Steve Witkoff said.

Axar.az informs that speaking at the Real Estate Impact Conference 2026, Witkoff added that a diplomatic peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia was reached in just six weeks, despite nearly four decades of conflict.
