Azerbaijan joins UN mediation settlement convention

The Republic of Azerbaijan has signed the UN Convention on International Settlement Agreements Resulting from Mediation.

Axar.az reports that Azerbaijan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Tofig Musayev, visited the UN Office of Legal Affairs and signed the convention on behalf of the country.

The agreement was adopted in New York on December 20, 2018.

The convention establishes a legal framework for international settlement agreements reached through mediation.
