Staff members of the German Embassy in Azerbaijan visited the city of Khankendi on April 27.

Axar.az reports, citing the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in Khankendi city, Aghdara and Khojaly districts, the visitors were provided with detailed information on large-scale construction and development projects being implemented in the city.

It was noted that work on renewing infrastructure and forming a modern urban environment in Khankendi is continuing consistently. Alongside reconstruction efforts, the return of residents who were displaced from their native lands is also being ensured. The relocation process has already begun to the Karkijahan settlement as well, and related measures are being carried out in stages.

During their visit, the diplomatic representatives toured Victory Square and Karabakh University, where they were briefed on the university’s activities and the conditions created for students.
