Azerbaijan–Czechia trade surpasses $800M, says President

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said that trade turnover with the Czechia Republic has continued to increase significantly and has exceeded 800 million dollars.

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev made these remarks in a press statement in Gabala alongside the Prime Minister of the Czechia Republic, Andrej Babis.

“If we look at the structure of trade turnover, we can see that it is mainly dominated by the export of Azerbaijani oil. Therefore, we would like to see a more balanced trade turnover and an improved structure. I hope that we will achieve this. Because today, both during our one-on-one meeting and in the negotiations held with the participation of our delegations, many specific economic and investment-oriented projects were discussed,” the President noted.
