Axar.az reports that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made the statement on his official X account.

"Azerbaijani wrestlers have once again demonstrated that they are number one in Europe," the head of state added.

It should be noted that earlier today President Ilham Aliyev received the athletes and their coaches who won medals in Greco-Roman wrestling, freestyle wrestling, and women’s wrestling, as well as the national team that became European champions in the team standings at the European Wrestling Championship held in Tirana, the capital of Albania.
