Kaja Kallas arrived in Azerbaijan

Kaja Kallas, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, has arrived in Azerbaijan for a visit.

Axar.az reports, citing the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, that Kallas said she was pleased to be in Baku, noting that Azerbaijan is a valuable and reliable energy partner for the European Union.

She said that there is clear potential to further deepen cooperation, particularly in trade, transport, and digital technologies.

“Of course, an open and sincere dialogue on human rights remains an integral part of our work," she added.
