Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis, Sahiba Gafarova, has led a parliamentary delegation on a working visit to the Republic of Serbia to participate in the Global Conference of Women Parliamentarians of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

Axar.az reports that according to the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis, the delegation is attending the event as part of its international parliamentary engagement.

At Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla International Airport, Speaker Gafarova was welcomed by Dushan Maric, head of the Serbia–Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group of the Serbian National Assembly, Kamil Khasiyev, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Serbia, as well as other official representatives.
