Achieving an agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia before COP29, at least on basic principles, seems quite realistic.

Axar.az reports that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said this during his speech at the international forum on "COP29 and Green Vision for Azerbaijan" held at ADA University on April 23.

The head of state added that reaching an agreement on the basic principles is also considered an option, and then time can be spent on the details of the provisions.

"Even the draft of the agreement may be ready. I think that for this, both parties should work wholeheartedly," the President pointed out.
