The closing ceremony of the "President's Cup-2024" international rowing regatta dedicated to the 101st anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held.

Axar.az reports that at the event organized at the "Kur" Olympic Training and Sports Center located in Mingachevir, trophies were presented to the athletes of the countries that won in the canoe-kayak and academic categories.

Georgia won first place in the canoe-kayak category, and Uzbekistan won first place in the academic category.

The prizes were presented to the teams by the President of Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation, Vugar Ahmadov, and the First Deputy Chairman of the Milli Majlis, Ali Huseynli.

Later, the event continued with the artistic part.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team finished the tournament with 9 medals.
