Four Hamas commanders eliminated in Al-Shati

The Israeli army said it killed a company commander and three Nukhba platoon commanders from Hamas’ Beit Lahia Battalion in a strike in the Al-Shati area of Gaza.

Axar.az reports that according to the IDF, the four commanders were involved in planning and carrying out attacks against Israeli troops.

One of them was also involved in the October 7 attack on Israel.

The IDF said the four were killed in an aerial strike aimed at removing the threat they posed to its troops. It added that measures were taken before the strike to minimize harm to civilians, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance.

The IDF said its troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue operating to address immediate threats.
