Kazakhstan has called on Kyiv to prevent drone attacks on its vessels in the Black Sea.

Axar.az reports, citing local media, that Kazakh Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi also said that Astana was ready to host negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.

Tleuberdi told Ulusmedia that Kazakhstan had asked Ukraine not to allow attacks on Kazakh vessels in the Black Sea.

Earlier, he met with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

“First and foremost, with the Ukrainian side, we discussed the need to prevent drone attacks on our vessels in the Black Sea in the future,” Tleuberdi said.
