Poland deploys GROM forces to Kaliningrad border

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Poland is sending GROM special forces, police and border guards to the border with the Russian Kaliningrad region for an operation to prevent alleged sabotage.

Axar.az reports, citing local media, that Tusk made the announcement on November 3 before a cabinet meeting.

"We have decided to send significant police forces, border guards and counter—terrorism units to the area," Tusk said, according to a recording of the broadcast posted on the page of the government's office on the social network X.

Tusk explained the decision by reports from Polish and foreign intelligence agencies about alleged "sabotage and provocations", without providing evidence.
