Qarabag fined 4,500 manats after Gabala match

Qarabag fined 4,500 manats following Gabala match.

Axar.az reports that the AFFA Disciplinary Committee has issued the decision following incidents during Qarabag’s away match against Gabala in the 10th round of the Misli Premier League, which ended in a 0-0 draw.

After the match, Qarabag supporters used pyrotechnics, resulting in a 3,000-manat fine for the Aghdam-based club.

The club was fined an additional 1,500 manats because a letter not used in the Azerbaijani alphabet appeared in the spelling of player Zakaria Savo’s name on his jersey.

Gabala, meanwhile, have been fined 1,000 manats for allowing unauthorized individuals into the “Zone 1” area.
