The Yaroslavl oil refinery Slavneft-YANOS came under another attack by Ukrainian drones overnight on November 3.
Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, a major fire broke out at the facility following the attack.
Yaroslavl Region Governor Mikhail Yevrayev said on social media that the attack damaged the refinery’s infrastructure and left two employees with shrapnel wounds.
He also said that debris from downed drones had shattered windows in several apartment buildings and private houses and damaged cars.
Slavneft-YANOS is Russia’s fifth-largest oil refinery by capacity. It can process up to 15 million tonnes of oil annually. The Yaroslavl refinery has been repeatedly targeted by Ukrainian drones.
