Three drones targeted the Azadi camp in Erbil’s Koya district early Monday, with no casualties reported.

Axar.az reports, citing The New Region, that according to Kurdish security forces, the camp houses members of a prominent Iranian Kurdish opposition group.

The Sulaimani-based Kurdistan Region Security Agency (Asayish) said the drones targeted the camp between 1:40 and 2:10 am Monday, confirming that no casualties were recorded.

The camp houses members of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (KDPI) and their families. In March, Koya district mayor Tariq Haydari told The New Region that the camp had been evacuated due to repeated Iranian attacks, with its current situation remaining unclear.

Meanwhile, media affiliated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported that the strikes targeted “separatist groups” in Koya.
