Azerbaijan plans to resettle 300,000 Azerbaijanis (forcefully evicted from their historical homelands - ed.) in Armenia at the initial stage.

Axar.az reports that Arman Tatoyan, the former ombudsman of Armenia, made this claim.

A. Tatoyan said that Armenia needs a new security strategy:

"According to the statements of the official Baku, it is planned to settle 300 thousand Azerbaijanis in Armenia in the first stage. Those Azerbaijanis are supposed to be resettled under the auspices of the international mission and under conditions of security. The current situation urgently requires the adoption of a new security strategy."
