Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a meeting with Abdallah Bouhabib, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Lebanon, as part of his business visit to the State of Qatar.

Axar.az reports that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the meeting, the issues on the agenda of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Lebanon, including political, economic, humanitarian, cultural, etc. ideas were exchanged on the possibilities of cooperation in the fields. The importance of political consultations between MFAs was emphasized.

The importance of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Lebanon within the framework of international organizations, especially the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Non-Aligned Movement, was noted.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed his colleague about the recent processes taking place in the region, the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process, as well as the agreement that resulted in the liberation of our 4 villages from occupation.
The meeting also discussed other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
