Jennifer Lopez has refused to perform a concert in Russia this August.

Axar.az reports that three months ago, the singer and her managers had agreed to hold a show in Moscow. A concert date had been set, a minimum fee of $1 million was agreed upon, and even a letter of intent was signed.

However, according to the “Mash” Telegram channel, Lopez’s team asked for time to reconsider after the initial agreements and ultimately declined. The reason given was that ongoing military operations in the country pose a serious reputational risk to Lopez’s image.

Rеportedly, J.Lo is not fundamentally opposed to performing in Russia, but only after the conflict with Ukraine has ended.
