We all love celebrities, dreaming about them and sometimes even choose them as a role model. Sometimes they disappoint us.

Axar.az presents 5 celebrities who broke ladies' heart by admitting they are gays:

1.Jim Parsons

Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons talked openly about marriage with his 11-year boyfriend, Todd Spiewak, with Ellen DeGeneres in May 2014.

2.Alan Cumming

Alan Cumming, known for his roles in 'X-Men' and 'The Good Wife', spoke on Larry King Now about his sexuality. He said: “Yeah I mean I’ve always been bisexual. I had a boyfriend before I was married and I’ve always sort of felt I was bisexual.”

He married his longtime partner, Grant Shaffer in 2007 in London. They remarried in 2012 in New York.

3.Josh Hutcherson

The 20-year-old 'Hunger Games' star identifies himself as “mostly straight” these days, but said, "Maybe I could say right now I’m 100% straight. But who knows? In a f**king year, I could meet a guy and be like, whoa, I’m attracted to this person.”

4.Wentworth Miller

This 'Prison Break' star denied he was gay in 2007, but then publicly revealed he was gay in 2013. He came out in a letter to the organizer of the St. Petersburg International film festival in Russia. Wentworth was invited to appear there as the guest of honor, but declined because of Russia’s recent anti-LGBT legislation.

He wrote, "Thank you for your kind invitation. As someone who has enjoyed visiting Russia in the past and can also claim a degree of Russian ancestry, it would make me happy to say yes. However, as a gay man, I must decline.

I am deeply troubled by the current attitude toward and treatment of gay men and women by the Russian government. The situation is in no way acceptable, and I cannot in good conscience participate in a celebratory occasion hosted by a country where people like myself are being systematically denied their basic right to live and love openly."

5.Ian McKellen

Award-winning Ian McKellen has had a long successful career. He is best known for his role as Gandalf in 'Lord of the Rings' and 'The Hobbit' trilogies. He’s been living openly about being gay for along time. His only regret is that he’d didn’t come out publicly sooner.
