Ariana Grande and her crew have got tattoos of the Manchester bee in a permanent tribute to city after last month's terror attack, it has been reported.

Manchester Ink gave the 23-year-old and members of her Dangerous Woman tour crew the tattoos backstage after Sunday's emotional tribute concert, The Sun reported.

The bee is a symbol of Manchester’s industrial past and people across the city got bee tattoos in the wake of the attack to show their solidarity with the victims

Manchester tattoo artists launched the Manchester tattoo fundraiser, where bee tattoos would be done for £50, with proceeds going to the families of victims of the attack.

The worker bee has been representative of Manchester since the Industrial Revolution, a symbol of the city’s hard-working past. Manchester’s textile mills were described as “hives of activity” in the 1800s, and the bee analogy stuck.

The One Love Manchester concert has notched up a new record to become the biggest TV show of the year so far - attracting a peak of more than 14 million viewers on Sunday night.

An average of 10.9 million viewers watched Grande, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Liam Gallagher, Pharrell Williams, Coldplay and the Black Eyed Peas take to the stage.

The emotional concert, which aired on BBC1, attracted a peak of 14.5 million viewers.

Meanwhile, Grande's song One Last Time is already heading for number one following the pop star's emotional rendition of the track at the One Love Manchester concert.

The tune has rocketed to second position in the official charts less than a day after the all-star show at Old Trafford on Sunday.
