The unlikely pair stepped out on the red carpt at the Met Ball on Monday with Grimes wearing a necklace that looked a lot like the Tesla logo. According to the New York Post, the pair have been dating already for a month after meeting over Twitter when Musk messaged her to reference an A1 joke she made three years ago.

But who is Grimes and what does she do? Grimes is a self-taught Canadian musician, songwriter, record producer and visual artist. She chose the name Grimes because in 2007 when she began writing music. Online platform MySpace allowed artists to list three musical genres and she listed grime for all three before knowing what the genre was.
