Maxim has just named Kate Upton the hottest woman of 2018. She's on the magazine's July/August 2018 Maxim Hot 100 cover with photos from the sands of Israel which you can see in the gallery above.

Upton took to Instagram to celebrate the news. "Thanks to Maxim for naming me the No. 1 hottest woman of 2018! Shot by the amazing Gilles Bensimon in Israel.

"Perhaps no one has exuded Americana like this year's winner, supermodel Kate Upton," said Maxim. "Like her doppelganger Marilyn Monroe, the 26-year-old is a blonde bombshell if there ever was one, complete with enviable curves, a sweet smile, and, remarkably, a good old-fashioned work ethic."

When Upton, who is from St. Joseph, MI, learned of the honor, she told Maxim "You know, I work really hard on myself, on feeling good, working out, being strong. Being number one on the Hot 100 is a little reward for all of the hard work."

Upton married former Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander in November 2017. Verlander is now with the Houston Astros.

The Maxim 100 debuted in 2000. Past winners include Taylor Swift, Myley Cyrus, Olivia Wilde and last year's winner Hailey Baldwin. Maxim will be celebrating Upton's Hot 100 cover at The Maxim Hot 100 Experience party on July 21 at The Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
