The Duchess of Sussex made a minor fashion faux pas today when she arrived in Tonga in a striking red dress.

Axar.az reports citing foreign media that pregnant Meghan Markle still had the label hanging from her Self Portrait dress as she walked along a red carpet to the sounds of local singers wearing grass skirts at Fua'amotu Airport in Nuku'alofa, the country's capital.

The £345 (AU$628 / US$444) bright red floral dress, which mirrored the colour of the Tongan flag, was accompanied by a Christian Dior Clutch and Manolo Blahnik BB pumps.

Despite making the rare fashion faux pas by leaving the tag on her outfit, the 37-year-old mother-to-be looked radiant in the red design, holding hands with her husband Prince Harry following their 90-minute flight from Fiji.
