The rave icon, 49, was found hanged on Monday at their farmhouse which had just gone on the market.

Axar.az reports citing the Sun that, he is said to have delayed selling it as he had hoped for a reconciliation with Mayumi, 31, after splitting last year.

A source said: “Keith always hoped they could make it work and he made various phone calls to her, pleading with her.

“But she didn’t change her mind and insisted they sell the house. It broke Keith. Mayumi isn’t to blame but it seems that Keith didn’t think he could carry on without her.”

Japanese DJ Mayumi’s Twitter account yesterday shared a local news story about the Prodigy frontman’s shock death.

An employee is believed to have found Keith’s body at the £1.5million marital home in Dunmow, Essex. He ran 5k in Chelmsford on Saturday morning but pals feared he had slipped back to his hedonistic ways.

Footage also emerged showing him appearing to black out before being held up by security guards at the Prodigy’s last-known UK gig in Brighton last November.

Fan Kenneth Edwards, 52, said it looked like he was “on some sort of drugs”, adding: “I’ve been to a lot of his concerts and not seen that before. It was shocking to see.”
