Earlier, the film received the Russian Golden Eagle award. The picture tells a story of a 6-year-old girl Anna, whose family dies in 1941 during the Nazi extermination of local Jewish population. The girls manages to survive and hides in the disused chimney at the Nazi commandant’s office for two years. Young Russian actress Marta Kozlova played the title role.

The thirty-second national award ceremony Nika, organized by the Russian Academy of Cinema Arts and Science, is taking place in Moscow on March 30.
