Argentinian legendary cartoonist dies at 86

Argentinian cartoonist Guillermo Mordillo died on the Spanish island of Mallorca at the age of 86, his agents confirmed on Monday.

Axar.az reports citing Anadolu Agency.

"We are very sad to announce that Don Guillermo Mordillo passed away on June 29, 2019. Terribly sad, but forever grateful for the eternal smile he left us," said Guillermo Mordillo’s official page on Facebook.

Mordillo was born in Buenos Aires to Spanish parents and widely known for drawing characters with bulbous noses.

Also illustrating children's books and greeting cards, Mordillo won several awards during his career.
