The latest surgery was a follow-up to the preventive double mastectomy she underwent in May of 2013. Both surgeries were the result of blood test that showed Angelina had an 87 percent risk of developing breast cancer, which-along with ovarian cancer-killed her mother, actor and producer Marcheline Bertrand, at age 56 in 2007.

Axar.az reports citing Telegraph Daily that it seems Angelina Jolie is in a healthy place: The actress told that she's going through early menopause following the surgical removal of her ovaries and fallopian tubes in March-and she's OK with that.

"I actually love being in menopause," she mentioned. "I haven't had a terrible reaction to it, so I'm very fortunate. I feel older, and I feel settled being older. I feel happy that I've grown up. I don't want to be young again."
